Auto racing: Danica does Letterman

Danica Patrick made an appearance last night on the Late Show with David Letterman to discuss winning her maiden championship last Sunday and becoming the first woman to win a professional racing title. The visit was also a reunion of sorts: Letterman was once Patrick's team owner.

During the interview, the talk show titan asked Patrick how she felt after the big win and where her long, flowing hair goes during a race:

I don't have a little scrunchie on my wrist because that really wouldn't look very nice with my outfit. But, yeah, I put it back, put my hair back and it goes underneath the suit. So it's a matted mess when I get done. All you girls with long hair know what I'm talking about.

We do, Danica, we do.
