The rising star of U.S. Diving has to be David Boudia.  This past weekend Boudia secured the top spot by putting together a tough routine and nailing many of the dives for perfect 10s. This will be his first trip to the Olympics.

His synchro diving partner, Thomas Finchum, finished second and has to wait to see if he will be joining Boudia in Beijing.

See both of their last dives now. And don't miss the veteran that is also headed to Beijing after the jump!

Laura Wilkinson balanced less than spectacular dives with the first perfect dive of her long career, giving her a third trip to the Olympics.  She won gold in 2000, finished 5th in 2004 and is hoping to be on top again before retiring.

Check out the entry on this forward 3 1/2 somersault!

The divers joining Boudia and Wilkinson on the U.S. team will be announced July 7th.
