Baseball: Is Alex Rodriguez hitting it with Madonna?

Over here at the Gay Sports Blog we don't like to dabble in rumor or innuendo but we couldn't resist the latest bit of juicy Madonna gossip surrounding Yankee Alex Rodriguez.
The 32-year old slugger was first spotted at Madge's NYC concert on April 30 and then she was spotted at a Yankees game sitting in A-Rod's box on June 22. Now comes word that Rodriguez has been making less than discreet late night visits to Madge's NYC home:
...the $28-million-a-year Rodriguez, 32, has made numerous solo nighttime visits to Madonna, 49, at her spacious home and would sneak out "as late as midnight." Says the source, "All the doormen are talking."
Now before we jump to conclusions the pair do share the same manager, Guy Oseary. But last year Rodriguez was accused of philandering when he was spotted with the same stripper in Miami, Toronto and Dallas. And, as we all know Madge has been suffering marriage difficulties with husband Guy Ritchie and has had a notorious affinity for latin men (read: Carlos Leon).
Neither Oseary nor Madge's publicist, Liz Rosenberg, could be reached for commment.

It's ashame that people have nothing better to do with their time than worry about Madonna's romantic or non-romantic interests. Gas is on average around 5.00 a gallon, Iraq is a political toilet, we have fires and flooding cross country...and the choices for the next President are an old-school Bush fundamentalist warhawk, or a thinks-he-can-walk-on water self made profit who skipped a few political grades to beat the possible first woman president. And you give a fuck about Madonna's rendevous? Get a life people.

I think Madonna likes big bats, not cute.
But the real significance here is that now Madonna will trade in that awful, faux British accent for a Bronx one. Based on her East Village start she should be able to manage that accent better....

Don't people have better things to do than worry about who is dating who? I hope Madoona & Guy reconcile their disagreement not just for them, but for their kids.
