Matthew Mitcham gets bum deal?

The word on the street is Matthew Mitcham is close to inking a deal with swimwear manufacturer aussieBum.
"We were fortunate enough to meet Matthew prior to competing in the Beijing Olympics," said Sean Ashby, creator of aussieBum. "Everyone in the company watched Matthew dive. To witness this man winning gold was a moment we will talk about with great pride – an Australian who chose to believe in himself."
Since the rumor mill started churning numerous fans have been flooding aussieBum with emails wanting to know the details.
"The emails have been coming thick and fast about Matthew and aussieBum," says aussieBum’s Elsa Dunn. "The news that we’re sponsoring him and have asked him to be the face of aussieBum is just as your article outlines…a rumour."
But they're not ruling anything out.
"Having said that however, we certainly would love to have a talk with Matthew on his return and open the floor up to discussing not only possible sponsorship opportunities but to have Matthew play a role in our company….As to what that role looks like we haven't planned that far."
So things are looking good for Matthew getting his first major sponsor. In case you missed it, aussieBum did film a video of him prior to the Olympics.

Good for him I am glad to see he hasn't been excluded from national sponsorship for being gay after all he is still a gold medalist.

aussiebum is and always will be totally related to gay issues products and promotions.... why they are balking on matthews sponsorship is a load of crap get over yourself aussiebum

There seem to be too few comments about how incredibly hot this guy is. Is there any part of his body any of us wouldn't want to lick in or out of swim wear?
I even think our lesbian counter-parts look at this specimen and start to wonder for a second about life on the other side.
We all love to see his body in athletic motion. It's flawless!
