David Beckham Playing For Milan Now!
"Beckham wants to train and play with Milan," said Adriano Galliani, vice president of the Milan team, in an interview with Il Corriere Della Sera, Italy's largest newspaper. "We want him. He will arrive in January and we will sign him for the rest of the season."
But what does this mean for the LA Galaxy, which Beckham still is under a $250 million five-year contract? Apparently the move is a short term loan and he'll still be part of the LA Galaxy's exhibition matches in Australia and New Zealand later this year.

I love David Beckham and have been following his career for many years. He is a great athlete who has inspired me to get out of the house and play some soccer. After reading the article on WebVet.com about how New Yorkers get fit with their pets, I decided to do some goal kicking practices in our park. Now, I take my dog out too and he pushes the ball with his nose when it goes out of the net. This exercise is perfect for just the two of us.

I am an avid futbol fan- and aspiring coach. Beckham is not an athlete- he is a model/celebrity. However I give him credit- he knows he has no skill, yet sales his name well.
I saw him for LA, and was not impressed.

Is David Beckham a gay icon?

David Beckham was one of the world's best when he was younger--back when he was the skipper for both Manchester United and England's National Team. However, his age is beginning to show a bit and he is clearly not the youngster/world class athlete he once was...along with many other players his age. He is still a good player, though.
If anyone has seen him take a free kick, penalty kick, or even cross a ball, then you have seen how he made a name for himself on the field. Americans who don't know the game of soccer see the athletes who can dribble through an entire team and score a goal--Becks is not that type of player. He has an accurate crossing ball and takes free kicks/penalty kicks with ease (at times). To keep up with the game today and to stay involved with an attack, a player needs to have a bit of ball-skills--Beckham has never really been good at that--juggling, maybe, but I would never compare his ball-skills to Ronaldinho, Cristiano Ronaldo, or Lionel Messi. Not even close.
Everyone has heard about his (Beckham's) modeling career, but he didn't get that chance until he became the posterboy for Manchester United. As far as David being a gay icon--I'm sure plenty of guys out there know very little about soccer but know who he is...and they think he's hot.
