Jennifer Colli, a former guard for Southern Methodist University’s women’s basketball team, is suing the University and the coach for sexual discrimination.
Colli alleges – and claims to have supporting testimony from fellow players – that she was harassed for her sexual orientation, ultimately costing her the scholarship that allowed her to play on the team.
Good ol’ SMU. The school that refuses to learn how to play by the rules. After receiving the death penalty in the 80s for major NCAA Football infractions, they still don’t get it. Moreover, take a look at SMU’s women’s basketball record. They’re in no position to be messing with any of their players, gay, straight, cross-dressing, whatever.
all pr is good pr... not
SMU needs to start learning from it's mistakes.
