Longest College Football Win Streak Is Broken!!!!

It is with great pleasure that I announce the nation's longest college football win streak was broken tonight in Fort Worth, Texas.  Texas Christian University (TCU) defeated Brigham Young University (BYU) 32-7 snapping the 16 game win streak held by the Cougars.

The Horned Frogs dominated on the defense side of the ball and slowed down the offense of BYU in a Thursday night matchup for the Mountain West Conference. Now the nation's longest win streak belongs to UTAH, PENN STATE, and TEXAS TECH who are tied having won 8 games each in a row. Boise State and Utah are now the top two teams outside of the BCS conferences who have a shot of busting (back) into the BCS mess!

While those of us in Dallas and loyal to SMU are likely quite amused and appreciative of your geographic sidestep, TCU students and alumni would likely be appalled that you mistakenly put the location of the game in Dallas, rather than in our neighbor to the west, Fort Worth, where it happened.

Jonathan, thank you so much for recognizing my error. Being a Ute fan you have know idea how fucking excited I was that BYU was defeated. I wrote the blog so fast, I didn't even catch the error. Go SMU, Go Horned Frogs, GO UTES!!!!
