David Beckham: Here Today, Gone Tomorrow?
In the never-ending saga that is David Beckham’s life in football (soccer), Beckham is now seeking release/trade from the LA Galaxy in order to stay with AC Milan, where he is currently on loan and playing his old ass off.
Pretty simply put, Beckham came to LA as a fading star in Europe and and now, having performed quite well with Milan over the past couple months, he feels he has his game back at a level wherein he might be able to qualify for the 2010 English national team. And, he feels playing with Milan will give him the best chance to do that.
He’s probably correct – at least in terms of Milan giving him a better shot at making it to the English national team in 2010.
He also pointed out American soccer has a long way to go to get to the international level of the sport, and, it appears, he doesn’t want to waste his few remaining competitive years trying to get it there.
Don’t worry. He’ll be back. Probably after he fails to make the English national team in 2010.
No disrespect, but with the exception of Landon Donovan, Galaxy are like a team from a lower English league. Expectations were much too high when Beckham came to play in LA - the MLS is just not up to the standard of football played in the rest of the world. It's getting better - don't get me wrong - but it has a long way to go, one man can not make the difference required.
Beckham is not a fading star. He came to the US under a cloud generated by McClaren and his vindictive desire to keep David out of the England squad and Capello's self-confessed mistake in excluding him from the Real Madrid team. Beckham's skill, desire and ambition have never left him - there's only so much of it that can be demonstrated in a league like the MLS.
He has not failed Galaxy, they have failed him.
I am glad Beckham is back where he belongs - playing football in Europe - a place he should never have left.

Whatever skill, desire and ambition he still possesses has been totally over shadowed by his self marketing. I sense Beckham fatigue amongst the masses.

Beckham (http://www.soccerbox.com/internationalteams/acmilanshop/beckham-ac-milan-home-shirt.html ) it would seem, is back in the EU! According to reports he wants to move back to Europe before he retires from the sport, and it appears he's ready to do so. Boss Capello allowed Beckham back into the Three Lions team after a successful stint with Milan.
That being said, the only thing standing between Beckham and Europe is Galaxy accepting the transfer offer.

First off try to write and gossip about things with proof.
Beckham was never a "fading star" in the UK.
Do your research next time. If only you looked half as good as he does at his age, I'm sure your douche opinion would have a little meaning.
Sad excuse for a writer or so called-- blogger..
Get a Life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
