Jersey Swap!
OK. It’s pure eye-candy. I know that. But you have to take a look for yourselves.
Adidas has a marketing site wherein a bunch of hot athletes line up and you get to choose which ones you want to see exchange jerseys. They then take of their jerseys and exchange them with each other.
Like I said, eye-candy.
Personally, I am waiting for the site upgrade wherein we get to choose which players exchange jock straps…
Oh I wish I could create the next site where they fully undress.... it would give Sean Cody some real competition, and be good for the economy!

What? No hot black, asian, other hot ethnic guys? hmmmm, too bad.

You make me sick. No wonder everyone thinks fags are perverts. Grow up and get over the whole OMG! I saw him without his shirt! tee hee! mentality of a pre-teenage school girl.
Just disgusting that you gratuitously objectify these people and encourage others to do the same.

I think you should talk to Adidas about "objectifying" the guys in the ad, hence the "slow motion replay" feature.
Also, if you're attracted to guys sexually, it's kind of hard not to imagine guys like that in jock straps. Why be ashamed of it?

This can be my fantasy.
Hope new porn films featuring these themew will appear!

Interestingly, while they're sports-buff, they're not gods. Who knows what Adidas had in mind when they shot this ad (well, except that it was supposed to be homoerotic); but it also gets across the message that not everyone has 2% body fat and 6-pac abs.

Cute and Sexy, dumb and usless at the same time
Posted by: Doug | April 12, 2009 at 06:51 AM
I think it's hilarious and ridiculous that any user of this website would be offended by this ad. It's pretty delusional to think that people don't objectify one another on a daily basis. You're also fooling yourself if you think you've never done it. Even the least superficial among us can and SHOULD appreciate the male physique.
If you're gay and you are irritated by attractive, muscular men taking their shirts off, then maybe you need to reconsider your orientation.

Oh my God!!!!!!!

Mike: drooling over scantily clad toned bodies is also a straight obsession. Ever heard of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue? Or talked to straight guys who watch movies solely because they've heard that a starlet uncovers her nipples in it? But everybody knows that straight guys are perverts, I guess... and, of course, gay guys ARE perverts. There's nothing perverted about jerking off to pictures of unclad bodies, though: it's perfectly normal.
I suppose you'll now make the inevitable next move, which is to say that we shouldn't sink to the straights' level. But if so, why do you worry so much about what they think of us?

What's the point? Am I missing something, or is this just stupid? Sure they're cute...but swapping shirts? Color me confused....

I love rugby!!! These guys play in the Super 14 league, and in rugby, trading jerseys is an old tradition. I wouldn't mind a jersey from one of my favorite players.

hehe of course it's an that has no intellectual stimulation but shit, enjoy it for what it is..... some random hot rugby players who signed on to make an ad for Adidas. I for one am appreciating that they actually signed on probably knowing that gay men would find it hot...... even this is a small victory since we had to have been considered part of the demographics.

Wow, I'm both disturbed yet strangely aroused. Its just hard to believe Adidas made no effort to cover up how gratuitous the ad is. We're discussing it, aren't we? Wasn't that their goal?
Posted by: Justin | April 12, 2009 at 02:35 PM
such a waste of time.
Such a stupid thing.
Posted by: NObama | April 12, 2009 at 05:32 PM
I want one where after they work out or finish a gam and are good and sweaty exchange their shirts or auction them off to perverts like me who really appreciate them hehe

Paid to be objectified?
Cut me the check any ONE of these guys got, and I'll be happy. I'll bet one of those check is more than the average gay.com member makes in a year.
Strippers can argue that they are objectified. But models? Hell no!
However, shouldn't we have been able to recognize even ONE of these guys?

the sad part is..i have no idea what sport this guys play
Posted by: alex | April 12, 2009 at 11:28 PM
Hey Randy01ca,
Two of those guys ARE ethnic. Liam Messam (far right) and Tamati Ellison (far left) are both part-Native Māori. Māori are the native people of New Zealand, theyʻre a Polynesian group.
If anything, theyʻre pointing out the Polynesian guys, theyʻre the only ones shirtless in this ad! =P

What's the point? It's not like we've seen str8 guys take their shirts off before. LOL
Posted by: Adam | April 13, 2009 at 06:34 PM
Can I say that this is PG-13 softcore porn.. me likey :)
Posted by: pennywaltz | April 13, 2009 at 10:46 PM
Big Deal!
A stripper complaingin about being objectified?
That is hillarious!!!
You are Slow, Mo.
Who would object to being paid a stupid amount of money for giving some other guy the shirt of your back.
Seeing a Surfer Change out of his wet suit on Sunset Cliffs is much more satisfying as no jocks are involved.
