Martina Navratilova Getting "Divorced" Again!
Martina is heading to court for the second time in what appears will be another knock-down, drag-out fight with a former lover.
Toni Layton, Navratilova's life partner for the last 8 years, has filed papers with a Sarasota, Florida court to protect her rights after allegedly getting thrown out of the house they share.
Layton claims she was locked out of all 6 homes she and the 9-time Wimbledon singles champ share.
"Martina has got a fight on her hands. Without any warning, my life came crashing down around me. I was kicked out on the streets with only the clothes on my back.
I was left an emotional wreck, with nothing to show for eight years of my life. I still suffer nightmares today. It's something I don't think I will ever properly recover from.
What I want now is justice. Justice for all those lost, wasted years."
The only comment from the Navratilova camp is "we don't comment on private matters".
I think Martina needs to grow up and start treating people better. I have never liked her. She has always been an arrogant, spoilt child. She gives gays a bad name. I wish she was straight.

People can get married and divorced at the drop of a hat. This is why it means nothing to me. We define our relationships not the government or the "community".

Sounds to me Toni is just mad and now wants money. Greedy fool just wants to get as much of Martinas' money as she can. I hope they dont give her anything.
Also, dont quite see why this is a headline. People file for divorce every day.

Leave it to a lesbian to ruin it for the rest of us trying to get married. Shame on you lezzie!

There is no contract btwn the two. It's not a marriage. It's a failed relationship. Besides, the money thing is embarrassing, straight or gay. Toni refused $200,000, knowing she could get more...

And blackmailing stinks. Shame on Toni Layton-LAMBERT.

There is no contract btwn the two and cannot be called marriage in any way. Besides, both blackmailing and suing for an enormous amount of money (for 'distress') stink.

Toni should have taken the 200,000S she was offered. But no, she wanted a lot lot lot more. Straight or gay, that is a shame.
