Safin Says "Buh-Bye" to Wimbledon
Three majors down, one to go.
Marat Safin played and lost the final Wimbledon match of his career falling to American Jesse Levine 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (4), 6-4 in the first round. The Russian giant will be retiring at the end of this season.
He was asked about playing at his final Wimbledon in his post-match presser:

MARAT SAFIN: Relieved. Pretty much relieved (smiling).

Fine, we only have the US Open to look forward to now Marat. You won it before so could you try, I mean REALLY try, to do it again? Your fans (read: me) would appreciate it.
