Is Superman Really A Gator?
Only one more month and we will find out for sure if Superman of NCAA football will have another kryptonite filled season! The unbreakable Tim Tebow, University of Florida Gator quarterback, comes back for his final year and tries to lead his team to an unprecedented second consecutive national championship.
Tebow is THE superstar in college football again this year. While most players of his stature usually make the early jump to the professional draft, Tebow chose to stay at Florida to try to repeat for the national championship. Why is Tebow both beloved and hated? The best bets are love and jealousy!
Tebow is a huge, dominant, God fearing, no man-fearing beast of a quarterback. He rocks the weight room all year and performs circumcisions during the summers. (Ok guys, don’t get excited. He goes to the Philippines on a family religious mission each year and is so talented that he is able to assist the doctors!) Blessed with amazing talent, a strong work ethic, and a killer body, Tebow is eye candy for girls, guys, and pretty much everyone except his on field opponents. It’s hard not to like this guy!
When his team lost by 1 point to Ole Miss in week 5 of last year, Tebow took the reigns of control, made an impassioned speech to his team and press and promised the Gators would not lose again. Almost one year and a national championship later, the Florida Gators have yet to lose!
Does Superman reside in Gainesville? Check out the Swamp when the Florida Gators season begins on September 5th. My guess is that you should look for Clark Kent in the stands to disappear again and find Superman wearing Gator jersey #15 on the field!
