NBA Star Richard Jefferson: "I'm Not Gay!"
Just days before his $500,000 wedding, NBA star Richard Jefferson emailed his bride-to-be, Kesha Ni'Cole Nichols, and called the whole thing off.
"Sometimes you might write an e-mail to get your thoughts down right," said Jefferson, who then later called her and talked for 2 hours.
"There was a lot of stress and tension in the relationship. We've been through a lot -- but we just couldn't continue," Jefferson said of his sometimes rocky relationship.
Jefferson, who dated Nichols for over 5 years, went on to say "I won't say a negative word about Kesha. She is one of my best friends"
Having been rumored to be gay in the past, Jefferson's last-minute cancellation only added fuel to an already smoldering fire. He insists though that the rumors had nothing to do with the breakup.
"I'm not gay," said Jefferson. "That couldn't be any further from the truth. I have nothing to hide."

He also failed to tell some of the guest that the wedding was off. They ended up arriving with no bride or groom.
I heard they were treated to a nice night out though. All paid by Richard so..hey...
Sucks for him :)But who cares...

Typical. So being gay is something "to hide." He's NOT gay so he has "nothing to hide." Sounds like he has issues.
On a slight side note: I admire celebrities who respond to being-gay rumors by either not giving a shit, or even better, express being flattered by the attention (s)he 's getting from gays and is flattered that gays think he's gay. Ya gotta like that.
