World Outgames Hit by Bomb Attack
The World Outgames taking place in Copenhagen, Denmark was struck by a violent attack this week.
A 31-year old man was arrested after a third bomb was thrown onto the track of Osterboro Stadium in a matter of half and hour. He was found carrying a backpack and another or so bombs according to Dean Koga, a member of the Seattle Frontrunners who was injured on his right hand by shrapnel. The Danish police are considering the attack a hate crime.
Outsports' Jim Buzinski is in Copenhagen covering the World Outgames and was able to interview Koga about the incident, his injuries, and determination to compete in the men's 200m after the attack.
