I have a confession to make. I might be the worst sports fan in the world. I went to the Derby last year, and didn't see a horse. Let me be clear: I was at the Derby for all 13 races and never even saw the first hoof or jersey.

How is anybody gonna make any money with a crappy payout like 3-1? Those are the odds for I Want Revenge to win. To really rack up on your bets, take a longshot like Mr. Hotstuff at 30-1 odds. Mr. Hotstuff? How the hell do you NOT take him?

Man, I used to love Mike Tyson. Back in the late 80’s he was a blast to watch. But holy shit, how hard did that guy fall? It was like life gave him a knockout punch from Buster Douglas in 1990 and he still hasn’t hit the mat. In freefall constantly for 20 years - like a sweaty Brad Pitt in Fight Club… slow motion.

The American skier said in an interview with UniversalSports.com Wednesday that he's leaning toward retiring at the end of this season, but hasn't completely ruled out the 2010 Vancouver Games.
Miller is the defending overall World Cup champion and currently competing at the world championships in Val D'Isere.

A Dallas Christian High School’s girl’s basketball team beat another girl’s basketball team 100-0 last week. 100-0! Sounds like some wonderful, wild, crazy, once-in-a-lifetime event that only sports can give us; something that the girls who won will remember fondly for a lifetime.
Except, the team that lost by 100 points is a team from a school where all the students have learning problems.
Classless. Absolutely classless. On so many levels.
