Donovan was none too pleased with his famous teammates' performance last season and made sure to let Sports Illustrated reporter Grant Wahl, who was penning a book at the time called "The Beckham Experiment", know about it.

Manchester United accepted a world-record transfer offer for Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid on Thursday, clearing the World Player of the Year to negotiate personal terms with the Spanish club.
The Premier League champions received an unconditional offer of $131 million for Ronaldo, and unlike last offseason is willing to see its 24-year-old star join a major European rival.

In the never-ending saga that is David Beckham’s life in football (soccer), Beckham is now seeking release/trade from the LA Galaxy in order to stay with AC Milan, where he is currently on loan and playing his old ass off.
Pretty simply put, Beckham came to LA as a fading star in Europe and and now, having performed quite well with Milan over the past couple months, he feels he has his game back at a level wherein he might be able to qualify for the 2010 English national team. And, he feels playing with Milan will give him the best chance to do that.
